Are you "MySpacing" and "Facebooking" your applicants? Employers are wondering whether reference checking should include visiting Web 2.0 "relationship" pages. Since the information exists without cost to peruse, I would incorporate information on MySpace and Facebook as part of the screening and background checking. If a perosn has questionable material, it would beg to question the persons character etc. The more information you have the better equipped you are to formulate a hiring decision.
