I've found that any general business class is good. The more knowledge you have of the business and business in general the more effective you can accomplish your job. Hope that helps.

I believe Business Writing and Speech have been key in my success as a Human Resource Professional as my job involves constant written and oral communication. I also endorse Carls opiniion regarding Management courses. The more you can walk the walk and talk the talk with your managers, the more credibility you will have.

Classes that are based on the SHRM modules: Compensation by Milkovich book, and classes broken down into the 6 modules.
