A recent decision by the California Supreme Court held that the grounds for vacating an arbitration award under the California Arbitration Act may be contractually expanded by the parties to an arbitration agreement. Cable Connection, Inc. v. DIRECTV, Inc., No. S147767 (Cal. Aug. 25, 2008).
